Whole Vehicle Systems Engineers

As an engineering team member of new concept development programmes, you will be involved in the integration of new electronic systems into existing vehicle architectures, from feasibility to engineering sign-off. Previous experience of ‘whole-vehicle’ electrical systems and a good working knowledge of vehicle bus systems, including CAN, LIN and MOST is essential for this role.

Automotive Lighting Design Engineers

As an engineering team member of an exciting new product development programme, you will be involved in automotive lighting systems development. You should have previous experience of automotive lighting systems development at either OEM or supplier level. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills are required. Previous experience of tier 1 supplier management is preferred.

Test Engineers (Networks & Electronic Systems)

As an engineering member of a new team, you will be involved in all aspects of vehicle electrical systems testing. You should have previous experience of automotive electronic systems test engineering at either OEM or supplier level, along with a good working knowledge of CAN, LIN and network analysis tools. Diagnostics Team Leader

You will lead a team of cross functional engineers to define and deliver End of Line and Service Bay diagnostics projects. Delivery will include ECU diagnostics specifications, definition of vehicle electrical system diagnostic strategies for EOL and Service Bay, and project management/delivery. Cross functional teams will include software and hardware engineers. You will report into the P-TEC management team and work closely with existing and new Customers to define diagnostics requirements, strategies and planning. You should have previous experience of automotive electrical and electronic systems at module and harness level, including design, test and fault investigation, project management or leadership experience, experience of protocols such as CAN and K-Line and and appreciation of vehicle diagnostic protocols, tools and software.

Software Development Engineers

Embedded, PC and Web based software development engineers are required for P-TEC's own product development projects as well as customer delivery projects. Projects of this nature are varied in terms of the skills required however you will be involved in aspects of strategy and feasibility, tool / environment setup, planning and delivery. You will have previous experience of automotive electronic systems and their software development methodologies and standards (e.g. MISRA C, SPICE), as well as a good working knowledge of industry standard software languages including Embedded C, C, C++, Matlab and Simulink and an appreciation of communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay, MOST.

Catia V4 & V5 Engineers

As a member of the engineering team, you will be involved in all aspects of 3D packaging activities including DMU, clash analysis, package feasibility and component design using V4 (with E3D) and V5 DMU. CATIA V5 design experience is preferred.
