P-TEC becomes one a select number of companies in Europe to use VOBES (Volkswagen Bordnetz Entwicklungssystem - the Volkswagen vehicle electrical development system), significantly enhancing our capabilities within the VAG supplier arena.

VOBES is the innovative CAD system developed by Berlin systems integrator gedas and Volkswagen and is based on the integration of two tools: LCable by Mentor Graphics Corp. and Catia by Dassault Systemes. Using VOBES, designers are able to generate system and cable level circuit diagrams for merging with 3D harness models.  This allows for the generation of wiring harness drawings from the merged data utilising either Formboard or Ldorado software.
